“We are all born polyglots” Alfred Tomatis

Audio training with the The "Electronic Ear" device " Tomatis Effect”, accelerates the language learning process by re-educating the ears and adapting them to different foreign language frequencies.
Each language has its own sound frequencies, a human ear can hear a wide spectrum from 16 to 16,000 hertz, perceiving infinite rhythms.
However, over time, our ears become attuned to the frequencies and the rhythms specific to our mother tongue, ‘tuning’ our ears to a narrower set of frequencies, to the detriment of others.
This is why it is more difficult to learn a foreign language as you grow older.
The frequencies of the French language are from 100 to 300 Hz and 1,000 to 2000 Hz, while British English requests listening between 2000 and 12000 hertz.
These differences in sound explain why the British have so much difficulty understanding and speaking French and vice versa.
"We only speak a language well when we hear it well, that is to say when we can analyse all the sounds and recognise the rhythm of the linguistic melody" Alfred Tomatis

The following languages can be learned with this method:
French, English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Chinese ....
Studies* show that improvement in the pronunciation of foreign languages is attained rapidly, with the APP method. This is obviously an interesting option for professionals who use, for example, business English, on a daily basis or who need to quickly prepare for a presentation, a speech, a business trip or an eventual transfer to an English-speaking country with very little time for preparation. It is also recommended for students preparing for the TOEIC oral and listening tests and for anyone who wants to improve their communication skills in a foreign language.
NB : The Audio-Psycho-Phonology method cannot be considered as a substitute for foreign language learning, but as a complement for learners who need to improve their accent and communication skills and gain self-confidence by doing so.

The observed results:
-
a marked improvement in the pronunciation of the language studied
-
faster integration time for foreign language learning (50% gain) *
-
improved concentration, memorisation and communication
-
dynamic expression, quick response and fluidity of speech
-
decrease in stress when faced with unfamiliar sounds

and validated by the European Union.
